"Woven with sharply-honed tactile intuition for a gratifying merger of color and texture, the interdisciplinary textiles and paintings of Pavlos Mayakis conjure thoughts of the ancient Greek goddess of arts and crafts, and the challenging Princess Arachne.  In that sweep of reflection, these exquisite blends or warps & wefts ardently remind us also of an omnipresent bounty available to art-appreciative eyes." - New Art International
